where you lead, i will follow

i am half drunk on some cabernet sauvignon that margie j and fleck gave us for christmas. and while i am half drunk and still abuzz from watching this week's episode of gilmore girls, let me take this opportunity to extol this show. now we all know last year sucked. the producers were all in a tizz cause they didn't know if there was a renewall in the future. and i think most of us will agree that rory gilmore played by the anemic alexis bledel is the show's main weak point. but rory's still got part of the story line and her hair is worse than ever. so why is this show so good this season? i've gone from a big fan to just plain obsessed this season. much of that can be of course attributed to luke and lorelei finally fornicating it. i mean anyone who's watched the show for more than a season has been waiting for the big moment and when it finally came at the end of last year, it just heightened my anticipation for season five. tonight's episode was so sad and i almost cried, but i held it together lest i get made fun of by dear listmaker. as full of suckiness that lorelei is, how could you not feel her pain? and dumbass taylor passing out those dumb ribbons? what was up with that. how come they didn't show whose side kirk was on. he loves lorelei with puppy dog eyes but he considers luke his best friend! and what about babette and ms. patti and morty? oh dumb lorelei, you really blew it! how could you be so stupid and treat luke so poorly. why did you take advice from your dumb 20 year old daughter with dumb curls in her hair and who lets dumb boys dump on her? you should have told luke that you did tequila body shots with pathetic christopher! you totally blew it. i love this show. p.s. don't you think they should get luke a new jacket? he's been wearing that already too thin army jacket through 5 seasons now. he must get cold, but then again during the winter in stars hollow you can wear scoop neck shirts and no scarfs and totally be fine.

And I thought I was the only one who sang along to the Gilmore Girls theme...

I wish I had become obsessed with this show earlier in its incarnation. I remember interviewing Bledel for the 1-7 before it premiered.

Why must you dump on Rory so much???? I will admit she has her annoying moments (Dont we all....) but she doesn't desreve as much bile & venom as you heap upon her. Plus you have no credability once you suggested "emily gilmore can do no wrong" a bogus statement if I have ever heard one!

Last knight's episode: Loreli needs her head examined. Luke was back to MAKE UP last night when she had to put on airs and drive him away. GET OVER YOURSELF. 1. Bibi is right TELL THE TRUTH 2. Luke would have been back on his own if you would have just given him like 12 hours of space, dont you know him well enough????? 3. Try listening once in awhile.

I am in serious depression over last nights episode. I am PISSED at the wrires on this show for doing this. It doesnt make sense or good TV. WE DONT WANT TO WATCH THIS, ITS STUPID. From the moment the christopher story popped up I was like uh oh I see where this is heading and its LAME. Christopher is played, unwatchable and boring. The show is Moonlightung in reverse, its BETTER banter and TV when LUKE AND LOREI are together. Next week looks like a car wreck that I dont even want to watch. They should have wrapped this up last night and moved on, more old boats, skating wrinks and hill street blues style bedrom talk.

Bibi- I almost cried too last night!!!!!

hard worker, i'm going to do a weekly gilmore write up if i can get comments like your all the time. wowza! ok, ok, i take back my emily gilmore can do no wrong stance because i would like my credibility. i just love kelly bishop so much and she's so good in the role. i couldn't bring myself to delete last night's episode from the DVR just yet because it would make things finite.

all this talk about the great gilmore season is making me crazy and even more upset that our lame public television channels don't include the WB. 3 home shopping networks and PAX but no WB. I'm dying here in this gilmore desert.

i'll admit it. i cried.

but did anyone else think the way that rory was treating logan's limo driver was kind of gross? total entitlement. i'm looking forward to the developing tension b/w rory and lorelei about class. rory's totally getting primed to fit into the richard and emily world and lorelei will hate that!

amy w, i'm looking forward to that tension too. every time it's been a topic on the show, rory has totally fallen for it - catillion, parent's young men of yale party, etc.. i was also surprised and turned off by the way she treated the driver as well. "i fed him?" what the fuck?

I liked that they didn't patch it up right at the end of the episode, tho. And talk about boring, hello Logan? zzzzz.
